Plant Limits: Default state limit—typically 6 plants per patient (with some limits on how many can be mature/flowering).
Purchase Limits: Standard daily purchase limits apply at dispensaries-
2 ounces of flower, 20,000 mg of edibles or 8 gm of concentrate per day.
Use Case: Suitable for most patients with typical medical needs.
Extended Plant Count (EPC):
Purpose: Grants a higher plant count than the standard limit, based on medical necessity.
Plant Limits: Can allow more than 6 plants, depending on physician recommendation and medical need.
Requires Physician Justification: A separate, detailed recommendation from a physician explaining why the higher count is medically necessary
Dispensary Purchases: May also increase purchase limits at dispensaries (with proper documentation).
Standard med card cost with our clinic is $150
The cost of EPC card is $200, regardless of plant count.
Due to a high no-show rate (around 50%), a non-refundable deposit is required when booking. This helps ensure that those who schedule are more likely to keep their appointments. It also respects the provider’s time by offering some compensation if an appointment is missed without notice.
If you cancel at least 48 hours from your appointment time, we will apply that deposit to your next appointment. If the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment, or you do not show up to your appointment, you will not get a refund and it will not be applied to future appointments.
The cost of the deposit does apply to the total cost of the visit.
For example-
Standard med card, you will only owe $100 at the time of visit as you paid $50 deposit.
EPC, you will only owe $150 at the time of visit as you paid $50 deposit.
You will need to provide medical documentation confirming the diagnosis for which you are seeking medical cannabis treatment.
This doesn’t need to be extensive—one note is usually sufficient.
Acceptable documentation can include:
A recent doctor’s note, therapist or psychiatrist’s note,
A physical therapist’s report
Imaging results such as
X-ray report
CT scan report
MRI report
Most offices have a patient portal where you can access this information. You can simply take a screenshot or photo of the note and send it to us via email or text.
The process of obtaining your medical cannabis card begins with bringing your medical documentation to your appointment with us.
After your visit, we submit the necessary paperwork to the state. You will then create an account in the state’s online portal. Once the state processes your application—typically within 1 to 3 business days—you’ll be able to download and print your medical card and provider certification.
Bring both documents with you to the dispensary to purchase medical cannabis products.
A med card is typically granted for a year or 365 days.
We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Paypal. The Center does have an ATM on site.
